Southeast US Workshop on Experimental Social Sciences 2019
May 10, 2019 - May 11, 2019
Apalachicola, Florida
ProgramOverview: The FSU Experimental Social Sciences research Cluster (XS/FS) is pleased to announce a small and intensive workshop on experimental social sciences May 10 and 11th at the historic Gibson Inn in lovely Apalachicola, Florida. The goal of the meeting is to develop stronger ties among experimental researchers in the Southeast U.S., especially those in Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. There will be only one session at a time, with 40-45 minute time slots. The organizers would like to thank Glenn Harrison of the Center for the Analysis of Risk at Georgia State University for providing partial funding for the workshop. In recognition of this generosity, at least 1/2 of Friday’s presentations will be reserved for experimental work on risk and insurance. We are also working on a plenary speaker in the area for the banquet.
