This conference focuses on the transformative role of artificial intelligence in corporate finance, bringing together leading researchers to explore its implications for firms and financial markets. The program features empirical and theoretical studies on how AI influences investment decisions, corporate governance, risk management, and the financing of innovation. Discussions will also address AI’s impact on capital allocation, predictive analytics, and the evolving boundaries of the firm in an increasingly data-driven economy.
Keynote Speaker
This year's keynote speaker is Gerard Hoberg (University of Southern California). Gerard Hoberg's research is primarily in the area of empirical corporate finance with a focus on innovation, mergers, IPOs, disclosure, informational environments, and industrial organization. His work often focuses on issues relating to important theories that have proved difficult to test, and to issues that are of importance to regulatory agencies and financial stability. He is known for methodological contributions that bring technologies from computational linguistics into finance.
