As things open up in Fall 2021, we are excited to begin hosting post-pandemic, in-person workshops again at Georgia State University. This workshop on Health Risk Management and Insurance will be held Friday-Saturday, October 22-23 in Atlanta, and will focus on health insurance economics and health actuarial science. The conference is organized by the GSU Department of Risk Management & Insurance and the Center for the Economic Analysis of Risk (CEAR). The goal is to bring leading researchers in these areas together to present their work to facilitate the exchange of ideas on these areas.
Conditions permitting, we will hold the conference in person at GSU in Atlanta on Friday and Saturday, October 22-23, 2021.
Lodging and Travel
Presenters are expected to make their own air/travel arrangements. Unless approved by the organizers ahead of time, presenters will only be reimbursed for Economy class airfare. CEAR will pay for the lodging expense for presenters for up to three nights - does not include incidentals, meals, etc. CEAR will contact presenters directly prior to the conference to discuss lodging needs. For all other guests, once we have confirmed the lodging for all of the speakers, we will update this section with information about the recommended hotels.
